Furlong can assist coating systems for internal and external surfaces, including general decorative solutions through to specialist protective coatings.
Works may be small and include sectional maintenance painting through to large scale, whole of site projects. Projects may be once off in nature or involve a longer term paint maintenance strategy.

Colour Stylist

Furlong Painting can arrange a Colour Stylist to provide you with professional guidance and help you make the right decisions for your facility. They will assist in understanding colour palettes, colours in different spaces, and finding the right style to suit your facility and the ‘story’ you wish to tell.

High Pressure Cleaning

The use of high and low pressure water cleaning, with the addition of chemical additives where necessary, ensure contaminants are removed prior to the coating process.

Exterior Timber Protection

Being exposed to the weathering effects of UV, heat and moisture, external timber has a number of harsh elements looking to reduce its life. With the addition of a suitable finish and maintenance strategy, the result can be a longer lifespan of colour and durability of the timber product.

Difficult Access Projects

Using trained, competent and compliant operatives, Furlong Painting is able to cater for facilities that may be ‘out of reach’ to others. Experienced in the selection and use of elevated access equipment (scissor, boom lifts) or mobile and fixed scaffolding means we can get to those ‘hard to reach’ places safely and provide a desired finish.

General Building Repairs

In preparation for painting, surfaces may need to undergo addition, alteration and / or repair. This can involve ancillary services such as building repairs, addition of carpet / vinyl, general electrical or plumbing needs. Furlong Painting can organize and manage these as a part of the project. Should the project involve structural works Furlong Painting can provide access to registered building services personnel.

After Hours Projects

Experienced with ‘live’ environments, often the only shutdown time for a client to consider painting works will come after hours. Furlong Painting understands this need and can arrange for an after hours process (evenings, weekends etc) ensuring the daily routine is not impacted. Appropriate scheduling, quick drying finishes and priority areas are key considerations in determining the best strategy.
