In its last major re-imaging project and in response to a changing strategy for its brand, BP Australia conducted a national project requiring external ‘facelifts’ for each of its retail sites.
Contractors needed to have been a member of the BP Accredited Contractor Program to demonstrate high levels of compliance in Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment (OHS&E).
All operatives must have been Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) accredited in order to work on such hazardous sites.
Furlong Painting, as an approved AIP / WPCG contractor, had demonstrated a high level of OHS&E and was a part of the BP Accredited Contractor Program.
Furlong Painting was able to achieve very successful outcomes for this multi-site client. From strict processes and procedures for hazardous sites to meeting strict timeframes and specific finishes for over 100 locations, Furlong Painting was able to provide desired outcomes and was awarded recognized by BP Australia for its ‘outstanding contribution to the project’.
Since this project, Furlong Painting has continued to provide a variety of painting services across their network of retail sites.
Furlong Painting’s commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment has been recognized with a Certificate of High Achievement by BP Australia for our high standard of OHS&E processes and procedures.
