Station Pier
Station Pier has been home to ships since 1854. Whilst a great canvas of historical infrastructure, some were showing signs of age and wear. The ‘Train Station’ exhibited breakdown of coatings, many of which were lead based requiring specific preparation and coating strategies.
With high levels of communication and safety management, Furlong Painting embarked on a process to prepare and renew the surfaces using appropriate PPE, capture techniques and then appropriate primers, undercoats and finish coats. The historical tale continues.
